San Pedro de Alcántara property — my view for 2026

I think San Pedro is one of the most interesting parts of Marbella for buyers who want a genuine walkable lifestyle combined with new-build property.

It has an advantage that some of the more exclusive Marbella urbanisations don’t: you can actually walk to the boulevard, restaurants, shops, beach and promenade. Current new-build listings show around 14 developments, with prices starting around €469,000 and extending beyond €3m.

The areas I’d concentrate on

Beachside / Linda Vista / Cortijo Blanco
This is where I’d look for the more premium properties. You’re close to the beach and promenade, while still being close to San Pedro’s town centre.

Nueva Alcántara
Particularly interesting for modern apartments, penthouses and new developments.

San Pedro town
Better for buyers who value convenience and genuinely walkable living. There are currently new developments in the town itself, including projects from around €300k.
